Personality

Alear's memory is hazy due to having amnesia but retains a spirit of positivity and courteousness. When Alfred is in wake-up duty, he described them as a deep sleeper. Polite as one can expect of a Divine Dragon, Alear warmly greets and interacts with the members of their army and the people of Elyos. Though they lost their memories of their mother, Alear quickly bonds with her and adopts many of their mother's mannerisms. Their journey tests their convictions and even near death, Alear refuses to give up and even finds rather unorthodox solutions using the powers of his allies.Despite their status as a Divine Dragon, Alear does not force people to address them with formalities and their title, preferring that they simply refer to them by name if they want to. At times they are uncomfortable being the object of worship especially when done in their presence. Nonetheless, they are touched by the people's faith in them.Alear finds the Corrupted unsettling beyond just a subconscious reaction. Initially they are terrified of their mere presence, but finds enough strength to dispatch them when encountered. After the tragedy at Lythos Castle, Alear takes on the responsibility for their mother's mission as a Divine Dragon for Elyos.Originally, Alear was rather jaded and stoic, emotionally broken due to the many deaths of their siblings at the hands of Sombron when they lost any perceived usefulness, or for simply being "defects". Alear hated and feared the Corrupted, knowing that any misstep or failure that caught Sombron's ire could result in being sentenced to death at the hands of the Corrupted. Their only goal was to prove useful to their father so as to remain alive by collecting the Emblem Rings for his sake.It was only due to a chance encounter with the Divine Dragon, Lumera that Alear was given the first sense of peace, happiness and love. It would be this encounter and bond that Alear would begin to become more expressive and even openly rebel against their father, leading to Sombron's first defeat. While not precisely shown, Alear did appear to hold some sentiments towards their various siblings as it caused their jaded outlook on life. Their youngest sibling, Veyle, was the last known survivor of Sombron's wrath and it was her whom Alear had left their dragonstone with, showing a deep level of affection and trust towards her. This would serve as the catalyst that would lead to their reunion 1,000 years later. Despite losing memory of her, Alear and Veyle felt a instant mutual connection to one another and upon discovering their familial bond, the two became even closer with Alear expressing explicit trust in her abilities and gently supports Veyle through her doubts over the people of Elyos's reception of her as a Fell Dragon. As they were dying, they expressed their regrets to Lumera that they couldn't have been a good dragon, spurring her to save their life and begin the process of transforming them into a Divine Dragon. When Alear dies again during the events of Engage, Alear once again is filled with regret, but their unbreakable spirit convinces the other Emblems to evoke their miracle ritual that saved Alear's life.

Background

Alear is a Divine Dragon and child of the Divine Dragon Monarch Lumera. 1000 years prior to the events of Engage, Alear is said to have participated in the war against the Fell Dragon Sombron. In the aftermath of the war, they sustained heavy wounds and was put into a deep slumber. Housed in the Somniel, over a thousand years, the people of Elyos would worship Alear as the Divine Dragon. Most royal families would be granted permission to visit them as they slept and they were regularly attended by at least 33 generations of stewards dedicated to protecting and serving Alear when they would eventually awaken.Alear awakens after a thousand years to the surprise of the current Stewards of the Divine Dragon Clanne, Framme and Vander. Alear discovers that they have lost all memories of their past. The news of their awakening spurs their Stewards to take them to Lythos Castle to inform Queen Lumera of their awakening. En route to the castle they are ambushed by corpse soldiers known as the Corrupted. Though they are able to deal with a portion of the enemies, they nearly overwhelm them before a massive white dragon destroys the remaining Corrupted. The dragon assumes the form of a woman who identifies herself as Lumera, Queen of Lythos and Alear's mother. At the castle, Lumera is overjoyed by their awakening but is heartbroken to hear that they have lost their memory. In hopes of spurring their memory, Lumera spars with Alear and teaches them about Engaging with the Emblem Rings with Alear evoking the Ring of the Hero-King. Alear is able to defeat Lumera and as a reward, she gifts them Libération. After, Lumera attempts to give Alear a ring, a gift she had promised to give to them shortly before they went into their thousand year slumber. Unable to recall this promise, Alear asks Lumera to hold onto the ring until they can remember. That night, Alear is awoken by a sudden attack on Lythos castle. Elusia, one of the nations of Elyos, raided the Ring Vault in the castle, stealing most of the Emblem Rings. As luck would have it, Prince Alfred of Firene had just arrived in Lythos with his retainers to request aid, joining Alear's forces in turn. As the Elusian forces leave, Alear is attacked by a hooded figure who nearly kills them. Lumera intercepts a massive beam attack and is mortally wounded as the hooded figure escapes, but not before dropping a Draconic Time Crystal. Lumera reveals that due to pouring a massive amount of her Divine Dragon energy into Alear as they slept, she was already severely weakened. She pleads to Alear to recover the remaining Emblem Rings held by the four nations of Elyos and trusts that they will succeed. She entrusts the Ring of the Holy Knight as she succumbs to her wounds. After putting Lumera to rest, Alfred asks Alear for assistance as Elusia had also invaded Firene with the intention of stealing its Emblem Ring. Alear accepts his request and immediately departs from Lythos to fulfill their mother's mission. The Divine Dragon's Pilgrimage
Arriving in Florra Mill Town, Alear meets Céline, Alfred's younger sister, who had recently escaped Firene Castle with the Ring of the Caring Princess, which Firene had been safeguarding. Alear evokes the Ring and quickly defeats the Elusian forces that followed Céline. After the battle, Alear is ambushed by a Corrupted only for a young girl to rescue them. She introduced herself as Veyle and tells them that she is looking for someone. Alear wishes her well before continuing onward. At Firene Castle, Alear and their forces repel the invading Elusian forces and rescues Queen Eve. She directs Alear north near the Firene-Brodia boarder where a second ring that Firene secretly protected was held in a secret shrine. There, Alear and Alfred encounter Yunaka who had recently stumbled upon the Ring of the Dawn Maiden which had called out to her. Unfortunately it had been stolen by bandits so Alear and their forces raid the camp and recover the Ring, evoking it. Veyle is encountered once more where Alear discovered that she injured her leg. Alear bandages her wounds and she tells them that she is looking for her sibling. The two part ways once more with Alear heading for Brodia.
At the boarder they are met by Prince Alcryst who initially believed that Alear's forces are either bandits or Elusian soldiers. After firing a warning shot, Alear quickly identifies themselves, causing Alcryst to immediately prostrate himself in front of Alear out of shame. Having been tasked by King Morion to escort Alear to Brodia Castle, they first are intercepted by an Elusian force lead by Princess Hortensia of Elusia wielding a corrupted Ring of the Princess Exalt. She demands that Alear relinquish their current Rings, but they refuse. Hortensia is forced to retreat and Alear arrives at Brodia Castle where he is warmly greeted by the Crown Prince Diamant and King Morion himself. King Morion willingly gives the Ring Brodia had been safeguarding, the Ring of the Young Lion, which Alear evokes. Suddenly, Brodia is castle is attacked by the Crown Princess of Elusia, Ivy wielding a corrupted Ring of the Sage Lord. Alear gives Diamant the ring to use and their combined force is able to defeat Ivy, who drops her ring as she is forced to flee, allowing Alear to evoke the ring. King Hyacinth of Elusia personally leads his army in an all-out attack at the Brodia-Elusia border, spurring Morion to face him directly in battle. Worried for his father's safety, Diamant asks Alear to follow his father, which they accept. At the border, Alear and his forces witness Morion defeat to Hyacinth wielding a corrupted Ring of the Lady of the Plains. As Hyacinth retreats, taking Morions body with him. Ivy once again stands in their way, though this time she does not have an Emblem Ring due to her previous failure. Alear defeats her once more, but chooses to spare her life and thus she retreats with gratitude for their mercy, but not before telling them to head to Destinea Cathedral where King Hyacinth took King Morion. Arriving at the Cathedral, they were already too late as King Hyacinth had already sacrificed King Morion and turned him into a Corrupted. Alear and their forces defeat Corrupted Morion, Princess Hortensia, and King Hyacinth.Sombron is revived due to Morion's sovereign blood and betrays Hyacinth, devouring him as well to further empower him. The mysterious hooded assailant appears and promptly steals the Rings Alear had as well as the Draconic Time Crystal. The hooded figure is revealed to be Veyle, who gives the six rings Alear had to Sombron, who promptly corrupts them. With no options, Alear and their army is forced to escape the Cathedral with Sombron's Four Hounds and Veyle in pursuit. At the Shadowy Moor, the Four Hounds and Veyle have nearly caught up to them, but Princess Ivy joins their forces, giving back the Draconic Time Crystal and gives them the Ring of the Princess Exalt and the Ring of the Lady of the Princess that she stole from Sombron. Alear promptly evokes the rings and their forcess successfully flee from the Four Hounds.Alear takes their forces to Solm in hopes of recovering the final Rings still being safeguarded by them. In the desert sands, Alear meets Fogado a member of Solm's Sentinels. After helping to dispatch some Corrupted, Fogado offers to bring them to Solm Palace where they meet Queen Seforia and also learn that Fogado is a Prince of Solm. Queen Seforia willingly offers to give them the Ring of the Radiant Hero, but forgot that Crown Princess Timerra currently had it. They meet Timerra at the Oasis Village where she willingly gives the Ring to Alear so they can evoke the ring. After dealing with some bandits, word arrives that Elusia had invaded Solm Palace and was holding Queen Seforia hostage. At the Palace, they find the Four Hounds and a brainwashed Hortensia. Alear and their forces are able to repel the Four Hounds and free Hortensia of her mind control, rescuing Seforia in the process. Queen Seforia reveals that Solm also held onto a second ring in secret. Directing them to the Northern Fortress, Alear encounters the dancer Seadall who found the Ring of the Crux of Fate. They evoke the ring and escape the Fortress which had been overrun by Corrupted.Word arrives that Elusia was heading to Firene once more to threaten its people in order to coerce Alear into relinquishing their remaining rings. At the Azure Coast, Hortensia's retainers Rosado and Goldmary, having deceived Sombron's forces, was able to steal the Ring of the Azure Twins, allowing Alear to evoke the Ring. By the time Alear and their forces arrive at Florra Port, most of the building had already been destroyed with the Four Hounds, Veyle, and a Corrupted Hyacinth. Alear and their forces are able to defeat them forcing them to retreat. Veyle wrests enough control of her body from her other half long enough to deceive Zephia into giving her the Ring of the Holy Knight and Sage Lord, which she promptly sends to Alear. Taking it as a sign that Veyle truly is good, they vow to follow the Four Hounds to Elusia and rescue Veyle. The Divine and the Fell
Mauvier delivers Alear and their forces to Lythos Castle as the Four Hounds and Veyle were laying siege on the Divine Dragon Shard. Though she is controlled by a helmet that amplifies Zephia's mind control spell. After a grueling battle, Alear is able to damage the helmet enough, restoring control to the normal Veyle. Sombron appears and, having deemed Veyle a defect, fires a massive breath attack. Alear intercepts the attack and protects her, but they are mortally wounded in the process. As they reveal their true familial ties to each other, Alear dies in Veyle's arms as Sombron absorbs the powers of the Emblem Rings, granting him his full original power.
Alear awakens in a astral space where they meet Veyle. Alear rallies the despondent Veyle and requests that she use her Fell Dragon powers to revive them. Their plan succeeds and Alear is revived as a Corrupted. They are able to recover the rings, but the extent of Veyle's revival wears off and Alear begins to fade. In desperation, the Emblem Rings evoke a miracle ritual, completely reviving Alear as an Emblem themselves, turning Lumera's ring that she intended to gift Alear into the Ring of the Connector, making Alear the Fire Emblem.Sombron raises the continent of Gradlon from the ocean and opens a massive portal in the sky to other worlds. Veyle, having the ability to sense special crystals that empower Sombron, leads them to them so they can destroy them. The first crystal, guarded by the final two of the Four Hounds Zephia and Griss, is destroyed when they are defeated. In her death throes, Zephia reveals the next crystal's location currently at the bottom of a deep lake. In a last moment of regret and out of spite to Sombron, Zephia gives Alear a special Draconic Crystal that allows their army to travel into the far past. The army is transported roughly 1000 years prior where Alear encounters their past self. They are able to defeat their past self, knocking them out and destroying the second crystal. The final blow caused their past self to forget about this encounter. Back in the present, Veyle locates the final crystal but she refuses to tell Alear who is guarding it. Veyle enters Gradlon temple alone to spare them from having to face a Corrupted Lumera. Despite Veyle's best attempts, she is unable to kill her and Alear forces their way in. Alear bitterly engages against Lumera and eventually defeats her. Restored of her sanity, Lumera is pleased to see that Alear has finally accepted her gift and is surprised to learn that they have become the final Emblem. Knowing that Elyos would be safe under their guidance, Lumera is finally put to rest and Alear prepares to finally face Sombron.Alear raises the Somniel into the portal. Just before entering the portal, Marth informs them that the Emblem's power is weakening and after the battle, they will likely disappear. In the portal dimension, Sombron explains that he is from another world and was going to leave forever. Alear questions why he even brought such ruin to Elyos. Sombron tells them that he is originally from another world where his kin was killed when he was young and he was spared out of pity. He was sent to Elyos, a world inhabited by Dragons, where he lived alone. His only memento from the original world was an Emblem Ring he smuggled, the Ring of Foundations. The Emblem within it was his only companion, but when Sombron began connecting to the inhabitants of Elyos, the Emblem and its ring suddenly disappeared. Having lost his companion and suspecting the people of Elyos of separating him from his companion, he laid waste to the world and desired to amass enough power to return to his original world to exact revenge. Knowing that Sombron will still return and to prevent him from further endangering other worlds, Alear vows to stop him. The unstable nature of the portal dimension weakens the connections to the Emblems, but Alear evokes their power as the Fire Emblem and a final clash ensues. Even with his true draconic form, Sombron eventually falls to Alear and their forces. In his defeat, Sombron laments his impending demise, but Alear encourages him to try and use the Emblem's invocation one last time. After saying the chant, as he stares at his two remaining children, Sombron states that he has finally reestablished his bond with his original Emblem before he finally fades from existence, but to them he is merely talking to himself.Alear and their forces return to Elyos and, true to Marth's words, the Emblems fade away, each giving Alear one last heartfelt message. While heartbroken, Alear is warmly greeted by their stalwart allies who promise to assist them in leading Elyos into a brighter future. An undisclosed period of time later, Alear appears in the Ring Vault surrounded by the twelve Emblem Rings on their pedestals. They inform the now Emblem-less rings that they will be succeeding Lumera as the Divine Dragon monarch. They try one last time to evoke the Ring of the Hero-King, but nothing occurs. Their allies arrive and escorts them out of the chamber so they can begin Alear's coronation. As they leave, the Emblems make one final promise in spirit to Alear that should their power be needed once more, they will answer and Engage with them again.Should Alear fall in the final battle against Sombron, a different ending occurs. Alear awakens in an unknown location where Sombron informs them that their forces perished after they died. Alear sees a much older Veyle wearing the Ring of the Connector on her finger. Behind her in a mirror, Alear sees that they have reverted back to their Fell Dragon appearance and have been turned into a Dark Emblem.

Battle Information

Abilities

Physiology & Divine Nature
Dragon Divinity (Divine & Fell): As a being born of both Divine and Fell Dragon bloodlines, Alear possesses a transcendent physiology. She commands almost almighty holy magic alongside destructive Fell energy. This dual nature grants her extraordinary superhuman strength, stamina, durability, and reflexes, as well as the capacity for elemental manipulation, hyper-awareness, energy blasts, and bursts of localized invulnerability.
Godlike Speed: Alear's greatest physical asset is her blinding, insurmountable speed. In combat, she moves as an imperceptible blur, easily outpacing almost any adversary.Infinite Momentum (Clash / Excel): Alear possesses a unique kinetic scaling ability. The more distance she covers before initiating a strike, the exponentially stronger and faster she becomes, simultaneously mitigating the impact of incoming counterattacks.— Martial Mastery & Extra-Dimensional Arts —
Master Swordsman & Unarmed Specialist: Alear has attained the absolute pinnacle of swordsmanship; any blade she wields becomes an extension of her own body. She is equally lethal unarmed, capable of routing entire armies and overpowering armed combatants with sheer martial arts mastery.
Dimensional Link & Gestalt Form: Alear’s soul is intrinsically linked to other dimensions. By channeling the Emblem Rings, she can summon the powers, techniques, and weapons of legendary heroes from other worlds. Through Gestalt Form (Engaging), she physically fuses with these spirits, donning their armor and gaining access to their divine power.— Arsenal & Artifacts —
Draconic Time Crystal: A mystical artifact that grants Alear Time Manipulation and Retrocognition. She can literally rewind the flow of time on the battlefield to undo mistakes or rewrite fatal outcomes, up to 9 times a day.
Libération: Alear’s signature blade. It naturally resonates with dimensional energy, allowing her to summon Emblem powers much faster. When she is in fighting condition, the blade grants her sudden bursts of supernatural movement, allowing her to essentially warp across the battlefield to close the distance.Wille Glanz: The sword of Queen Lumera. It vastly enhances all of Alear's physical and magical attributes, automatically dampens the force of attacks from slower enemies, and allows her to project devastating, long-range magical blasts from the blade.Divine Martial Arts (Dragon's Fist / Maritime / Wintery Arts): specialized gauntlets and unarmed techniques. When using these, Alear's strikes produce shockwaves that automatically target an opponent's weakest physical or magical defense point, even from a distance. They heavily debuff enemies based on the amount of dimensional energy (Emblems) Alear is channeling.— Combat Speed, Evasion & Counter-Hax —
Evasion & Damage Mitigation (Godlike Reflexes / Vital Astra / Spurn): Because her speed is so vast, enemies have an incredibly difficult time landing a clean hit. Attacks that do connect are treated as glancing blows, with the kinetic and magical damage severely reduced based purely on how much faster Alear is than her opponent.
Hit-and-Run & Overwhelm (Close Call / Potent): Alear can strike and instantaneously push herself back for a tactical retreat before the enemy can swing. Conversely, if she presses the offensive, she can break the natural rhythm of combat, unleashing an immediate, impossible third follow-up strike in a sequence that should only allow two.Damage Reflection & Defiance (Counter Roar / Attack & Speed Prime): Alear absorbs the mitigated kinetic energy from an enemy's strike and violently reflects it back at them on her next hit, healing her own wounds in the process. If she is heavily buffed by magic, she passively repels incoming damage back to the attacker.Null Counter-Disrupt: Alear completely ignores magics, auras, or martial techniques designed to prevent her from counterattacking. If struck, she will retaliate.— Offensive Hax & Execution —
Defense & Armor Piercing (Luna / Aether): Alear possesses techniques that organically ignore 50% of an enemy's physical armor and magical resistance. Aether additionally allows her to drain the life force of her enemy, healing herself for half the massive damage she inflicts.
Damage Reduction Nullification (No Quarter / Dragon Blast): When Alear strikes a critical blow or channels her draconic energy, she completely shatters any magical barriers or innate defensive skills the enemy relies on to reduce incoming damage.Elemental Annihilation (Growing Flame / Light / Wind): Before she even crosses blades with a target, Alear can detonate massive, wide-area elemental explosions around them, heavily wounding entire formations.— Auras, Field Control & Spatial Manipulation —
Divinely Inspiring & Rally: Her mere presence boosts the morale, strength, and defenses of her allies, constantly healing them and accelerating their combat rhythms.
Aura of Reversal (Harsh Command / Unity): Alear can command the battlefield to reject negative magic. She can instantly cure allies of magical afflictions, panic, and debuffs, converting those negative penalties into massive positive enhancements.Spatial Bending (Pathfinder / Spiked Wall / Dragon Wall): Alear manipulates the space around her. She can create pathways that allow allies to move through her position instantaneously without expending stamina. Conversely, she projects a draconic barrier that physically prevents enemies from moving past her guard and actively blocks long-range combatants from teleporting anywhere near her vicinity.Exposure & Ploy: Alear projects an overwhelming draconic aura across vast distances. Weaker-willed or magically inferior enemies caught in her line of sight have their magical buffs violently stripped away and are inflicted with Exposure, leaving their bodies fragile and causing them to take massive true damage from any subsequent attack.— Ultimate Defenses —
Emblems' Miracle: When surrounded by her allies, Alear becomes functionally immortal. If struck by an attack that would utterly obliterate her, the combined dimensional energy of the Emblems allows her to survive with a sliver of life force, before instantly and miraculously regenerating to full health.
Verge of Death: Alear can consciously sacrifice her own durability and magical resistance to push her attack power and speed into completely uncharted, lethal territories. When fighting at this absolute limit, she is entirely immune to fear, panic, and magical debuffs meant to slow her down.

While channeling Eirika, Alear gains increased damage mitigation and her strikes randomly pierce through enemy armor (Lunar Brace / Gentility). By switching to Ephraim, her attacks deal vastly more damage and vampirically drain the enemy's life force to heal her (Solar Brace / Bravery). Upon fully engaging, she gains all these benefits simultaneously and can summon Ephraim's spirit to deliver a simultaneous sword-and-lance cross-strike (Twin Strike).Ike (The Radiant Hero): Transforms Alear into an unstoppable juggernaut. She gains the ability to effortlessly shatter walls and structures with a single blow (Demolish). Through Laguz Friend, she sacrifices her evasion to passively halve all incoming damage. As she takes damage, her defense and lethal precision skyrocket (Resolve / Wrath), culminating in Great Aether—a massively charged, wide-area devastating strike that drains the life force of everything it hits to heal her.Micaiah (The Dawn Maiden): Bestows god-tier healing and purification. Alear becomes immune to silencing magics and can extend the range of her healing spells across vast distances (Augment). Her healing becomes symbiotic, restoring her own body as she mends others (Healing Light). In desperate moments, she can use Great Sacrifice, giving up nearly all of her own stamina to instantaneously resurrect and fully heal her entire army.Lucina (The Princess Exalt): Masters cooperative combat and shielding. When fighting alongside allies, Alear can coordinate simultaneous, unavoidable combined assaults (Dual Strike / All for One). She can also project the Bonded Shield, a divine barrier that completely protects her allies from heavy, lethal damage.Corrin (The Crux of Fate): Grants Reality and Terrain Warping. Through Dragon Vein, Alear can alter the very landscape around her (creating hazards, healing zones, or barriers). Her strikes passively paralyze and slow enemies (Dreadful Aura) and place crippling curses on their physical capabilities (Draconic Hex). She can also unleash Torrential Roar, a draconic blast of water that decimates a line of foes and leaves the earth dangerously slick.Byleth (The Professor): Grants Probability Manipulation and battlefield command. Alear can literally rewrite reality so that an attack meant to miss will always strike true (Divine Pulse). She can temporarily bestow massive physical and magical enhancements to her entire army (Instruct) and perform the Goddess Dance, instantly rejuvenating the stamina and morale of everyone around her.Alear (The Fire Emblem): The 13th Emblem—Alear channeling her ultimate, realized self. This grants her complete dominance over draconic foes (Holy Aura). She nullifies incoming damage (Holy Shield) and exponentially multiplies her own statistics for every ally fighting alongside her. Her strikes carry certified, guaranteed critical force (Boon of Elyos). Her ultimate techniques, Dragon Blast and Bond Blast, combine her peerless swordsmanship with an apocalyptic beam of pure, concentrated divine magic.— Emblem Bracelets —Tiki (The Ancestor): Unlocks true Dragon Transformation. Engaging allows Alear to take the form of a fearsome dragon, granting a massive surge to her maximum vitality (Divine Blessing). She projects an aura that drastically raises the durability of her allies (Geosphere), passively heals immense amounts of stamina over time (Lifesphere), and gains the ability to completely cancel the damage of an incoming strike while rendering herself highly resistant to critical blows (Special Guard / Lightsphere).Soren (The Strategist): Grants elemental mastery and Aggro Manipulation. Alear can cast an illusion that makes enemies completely ignore her on the battlefield (Assign Decoy). Her magic natively pierces enemy resistances and drains their life (Flare). Furthermore, her elemental spells carry crippling curses (Anima Focus): fire melts defenses, thunder blinds enemies, and wind violently hinders their movement.Hector (The General of Ostia): Grants nigh-indestructibility. Alear can completely halt an enemy in their tracks with a paralyzing gaze (Piercing Glare). In combat, she instinctively adapts to incoming damage to neutralize it (Adaptability), can instantly regain her footing to counterattack (Quick Riposte), and can momentarily triple her physical defenses or enter a state of complete, temporary invincibility (Impenetrable / Storm's Eye).Chrom & Robin (The Shepherd Exalt): Alear gains an immense boost to her speed, precision, and raw magical capacity. She develops a supernatural instinct for parrying, instinctively mitigating the force of incoming bladed attacks (Sword Guard). When she exploits an enemy's weak point, her critical strikes land with catastrophically amplified kinetic force, completely shattering the opponent (Brute Force).
Alear perfectly utilizes the battlefield terrain to her advantage. If she initiates an attack from an obscured or fortified position (such as dense forests or defensive structures), her assault is so sudden and tactically overwhelming that the enemy is left completely stunned and entirely unable to counterattack.
Alear projects a radiant aura of absolute command. With a single rallying cry, she simultaneously elevates every single physical, magical, and defensive attribute of all allies in her vicinity, pushing her entire vanguard well beyond their natural limits for the duration of the skirmish.
When fully engaged, Alear never fights alone. Whenever she launches an offensive, the phantom grand tactician Robin instantaneously manifests to deliver a coordinated, inescapable follow-up strike. At the zenith of their power, Alear channels her immense physical strength into a colossal blade of pure magical lightning (Giga Levin Sword). This apocalyptic slash carries the kinetic weight of a physical blow but the armor-piercing devastation of thunder magic, acting as a tactical signal that commands all surrounding allies to simultaneously converge on the target in a massive, army-wide execution.Camilla (The Doting Sister): Grants the ability of true Flight (Soar). Alear gains the Dragon Vein terrain warping, alongside the ability to instantly purify herself and her allies of any toxins or ailments (Detoxify / Groundswell). She possesses a terrifying sixth sense for enemy weak points (Decisive Strike) and can execute Dark Inferno, a cataclysmic strike that shatters the earth and engulfs the immediate area in hellfire.Edelgard, Dimitri, & Claude (The Three Houses): Grants access to the legendary Heroes' Relics and tactical elemental gambits (Fire, Shielding, and Poison). Alear can enter an unstoppable berserker rage that allows consecutive turns of movement (Raging Storm), deal outright doubled damage capable of shattering anything (Atrocity), and gain immediate precognition to flawlessly dodge the next incoming attack (Fallen Star). Ultimately, she can unleash Houses Unite, a devastating barrage utilizing all three Relics at once.Veronica (The Lonely Heir): Alear’s magical power and precision are vastly heightened. She becomes terrifyingly lethal when pushed to the brink; through Reprisal, the closer she is to death, the more her physical and magical strikes skyrocket in destructive power. Furthermore, she passively absorbs the combat essence of defeated enemies, permanently accelerating her own growth with every foe she slaughters. She exercises absolute authority over the battlefield. With Contract, she can forcefully reinvigorate an exhausted ally, manipulating their stamina to grant them an immediate second action, though the exertion temporarily roots them in place. If overwhelmed, she can tear open dimensional rifts to Summon Heroes, randomly pulling phantom warriors from other worlds to reinforce her ranks. The Book of Worlds: Her ultimate trump card is a continuously evolving grimoire that charges with apocalyptic energy the longer Alear bides her time and focuses. Unleashing it triggers a cascade of catastrophic effects depending on how long she meditated:Book I: Seal: If unit initiates combat, freezes foe after combat.
Book II: Flame: If unit initiates combat, freezes foe and sets foe's space on fire after combat.
Book III: Death: If unit initiates combat, deals 10 damage, freezes foe, and sets foe's space on fire after combat.
Book IV: Dream: If unit initiates combat, restores HP equal to damage dealt during combat, then deals 10 damage, freezes foe, and sets foe's space on fire after combat.
Book V: Science: If unit initiates combat, restores HP to self and adjacent allies equal to damage dealt during combat, then deals 10 damage, freezes foe, and sets foe's space on fire after combat.
